2024: Aiyedatiwa poised for victory, says Ajongbolo

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Oluwaseun Ajongbolo has expressed optimism that the state Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, would emerge winner in the Saturday gubernatorial election.
Ajongbolo, who was an erstwhile Chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Monday in Akure, the state capital.
He said the inimitable performances of Aiyedatiwa would earn him victory, adding that the Governor had creditably performed in all the sectors in the Sunshine State.
Ajongbolo, however, urged the residents of the state to eschew financial inducement and violence during the gubernatorial poll, advising that residents should report to security agencies should they perceive electoral malpractices in their units.
The statement reads, “As we approach the much-anticipated election this Saturday, I, Oluwaseun Ajongbolo, wish to express my firm belief that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is poised for victory.
“This confidence is based on the Governor’s remarkable achievements across all sectors in our state. His dedication to improving healthcare, education, infrastructure, and youth empowerment is evident, and the people can see the positive impact of his leadership.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa’s performance has touched every community, ensuring that the benefits of good governance are felt by everyone. This is why I am optimistic that the people of our state will reward his hard work by re-electing him.
“I also urge all residents to vote peacefully and not be swayed by financial inducements or promises from desperate politicians. It is important that we uphold the integrity of our democratic process. I call on everyone to report any form of electoral malpractice to the appropriate security agencies.
“Let us vote for progress, vote for development, and vote for continuity with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. Together, we can build a brighter future for our state.
