As the Ondo State governorship election on November 16 draws near, leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ijare Local Council Development Area (LCDA) have expressed strong support for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, pledging to deliver all wards in the area for his re-election.

At an APC rally held at the Ijare LCDA secretariat, Hon. Engr. Alex Oladimeji, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Public Works, and Chairman of the rally’s organizing committee, reaffirmed the LCDA’s belief in the governor’s leadership. Oladimeji emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa is the best option for Ondo State, noting his remarkable contributions across the state.

Oladimeji, a former Chairman of Ifedore Local Government Area, urged APC members to remain vigilant and work hard for victory at the polls.

He commended the governor’s dedication to developing Ijare and other areas, particularly in infrastructure and citizen welfare.

He stressed the readiness of party leaders to commence grassroots mobilization efforts to secure a resounding victory.

In his speech, Hon. Adebusuyi Idowu Pius, Commissioner 1 in the Ondo State House of Assembly Service Commission, lauded the governor’s inclusive approach to governance, which has brought tangible benefits to the people of Ondo State. Pius emphasized the importance of having a leader like Governor Aiyedatiwa, whose experience and dedication are critical to ensuring good governance.

Hon. Aroloye Oyinkansola, a Special Assistant to the governor, expressed confidence that Ijare LCDA would stand firmly behind Governor Aiyedatiwa due to his attentiveness and inclusive leadership style.

She noted that his policies have significantly improved youth empowerment, education, job creation, and infrastructure development in the state.

Hon. Oluyemi Damilola, Special Assistant on Mobilization, praised the governor’s commitment to progress, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, healthcare, and youth opportunities.

She highlighted Governor Aiyedatiwa’s focus on inclusive governance, ensuring that women’s voices are heard in decision-making processes.

Hon. Ayodele Adedayo, another Special Assistant, stressed the strategic importance of Ijare LCDA in the upcoming election, assuring supporters that the governor’s continued leadership would bring widespread benefits to the area.

He emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s policy direction has prioritized the well-being of Ondo State’s citizens.

Ijare Ward 2 Leader, Hon. Tuyi Agboola, echoed these sentiments, stating that the LCDA remains confident in the governor’s visionary leadership and supports his candidacy for another term.

Agboola commended the governor for appointing Ijare LCDA indigenes to key positions, emphasizing that continuity in governance is essential to maintaining progress in the state.

The rally also featured remarks from Hon. Rasaq Obe, Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, who described the event as a major boost for APC’s campaign in Ijare LCDA.

He expressed gratitude to party leaders for their dedication and praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for his prompt action in addressing local road infrastructure concerns.

Prominent members of the APC in the area attended the rally, all rallying behind Governor Aiyedatiwa as he seeks re-election on November 16.
