announces N73,000 minimum wage for Ondo workers

It was a colourful gathering at Ondo township Stadium on Saturday as All Progressives Congress (APC) flags off campaign in the central senatorial District of Ondo State.

The Campaign Director General, Hon. Abiola Makinde, Member, representing Ondo East/West federal constituency, appreciated the people for coming out in their large numbers, stressing that it shows the extent of their love for the Governor.

The State Chairman of APC, Engr. Ade Adetimehin expressed his happiness at the presence of the numerous supporters of the Governor. He described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a reliable man. He emphasized Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to infrastructural development across the state and reminded party members of the importance of safeguarding their voter cards, which are essential for ensuring the party’s continued leadership.

Ebenezer Alabi, former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, hailed Governor Aiyedatiwa for the good works he has been doing since he assumed office. He urged the people to come out in their large numbers come November 16 to vote for Governor Aiyedatiwa for his good works to continue.

Also speaking, the State Commisoner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Deaconess Lola Fagbemi highlighted the Governor’s achievements including payment of WASSCE for secondary schools, development of health sector, good roads, infrastructure, among others. She

Chief Olusola Oke, a former APC gubernatorial aspirant expressed his confidence in Aiyedatiwa’s victory come November 16. He described Aiyedatiwa as a leader with foresight who will never disappoint his people.

Kolade Akinjo, A two – term House of representatives members, Ilaje/Ese Odo and a former APC gubernatorial aspirant, declared his total and unwavering support. He urged the people to keep supporting the Governor for them to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

Former ambassador of Nigeria to Togo, Ambassador Olusola Iji noted that Aiyedatiwa has more goodies in stock for the people of Ondo State. He encouraged the people to go back to their wards and units to hold meetings and canvas more support for Aiyedatiwa.

In his reaction, Governor Aiyedatiwa appreciated the support for the support he had enjoyed since he assumed office.

The Governor announced seventy three thousand naira (N73,000) minimum wage for the workers of Ondo State.

He assured the people that his administration would continue to advance further in the development of the State, security of lives and property of the people, youth employment, development of health sector, educational sector, among others.

In attendance were; Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, Chief of Staff, Prince Segun Omojuwa, Members of the State Executive Council, APC leaders, party members, among others.
