Akeju Emmanuel empowers Ward 10 residents in Erusu

Hon. Akeju Emmanuel, popularly known as Mr Pillar, has empowered residents of Ward 10 (Erusu/Ikaram) in Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, as part of efforts to boost grassroots economic development.

The empowerment programme, held in Erusu Akoko, attracted party loyalists, community leaders and beneficiaries from across the ward. The initiative was described by participants as a show of unity and sustained grassroots mobilisation ahead of future political activities.

Addressing attendees, Akeju said the programme was driven by his commitment to improving the welfare of the people and strengthening their economic base. He reaffirmed his support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, as well as the political aspirations of Hon. Ife Ehindero and Hon. Fatai Bolaji Atere.

Items distributed during the exercise included hand dryers, hair clippers, grinding machines and cash support to assist beneficiaries in starting or expanding small-scale businesses. According to the organiser, the intervention was designed to promote self-reliance and enhance livelihoods at the grassroots.

Beneficiaries and community stakeholders commended the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful, while pledging continued support for Akeju’s political vision and the leaders he supports.

The event concluded with expressions of appreciation and renewed commitment to unity, development and political solidarity within Ward 10 and the wider Akoko community.
