The All Progressives Congress in Ondo State has lauded Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for what it described as notable achievements recorded in 2025, saying the state is poised for greater progress in the year ahead.
In a New Year message signed by the party’s Director of Media and Publicity, Steve Otaloro, the APC said the governor had quickly converted policy ideas into tangible projects that are already impacting lives across the state.
The party said long-abandoned roads in Akure and other towns had received attention under the current administration, with improved junctions, intersections and resurfaced roads enhancing mobility and economic activities.
It also commended the government for reshaping the night-time appearance of the state capital through better street lighting, functional traffic lights and modern road fittings that have improved safety and orderliness.
According to the APC, the administration’s focus on quality execution, prudent use of resources and long-term planning has rebuilt public trust and dovetailed with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The party further pointed to the extension of the Yuletide break for workers as a demonstration of a leadership style that blends compassion with productivity.
As Ondo prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026, the APC expressed confidence that the pace of development would intensify, assuring residents of a brighter and more prosperous future under Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
