“The budget reflects our collective vision for the future of Ondo State and it demonstrates that when we work together, we can achieve great things for our people.

It is through these resources that we will continue to create opportunities, improve livelihoods and build a sustainable future for ourselves and generations to come”.

He urged all spending entities to study the provisions of the budget for strict implementation by adhering to the principles of transparency, accountability and disclosure.

“Data driven policy implementation would be given very serious prominence. To this end, the Ondo State Bureau of Statistics would be strengthened to provide timely data for policy formulation and implementation such that key decisions by government would be predicated on relevant State’s data.

“We will place emphasis on monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes in the coming fiscal year. The State’s monitoring apparatus would be strategically repositioned to ensure that all projects are delivered to specification and address critical needs of the people of the State.

“For the avoidance of doubt, there will be real-time monitoring of all projects in the State as we will institutionalise the State’s monitoring framework. As we move forward, we will use this budget to address some of the most pressing challenges we face, while also making room for new opportunities for growth and development. Consequently, we are committed to full transparency, accountability and efficiency in the use of these resources, such that every Naira spent would be a step towards improving the lives of our people”.
