As Nigerian children celebrate this year’s children day, the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable (Chief) Oladiji Olamide Adesanmi has encouraged them to embrace available opportunities provided by government, for them to excel in life.
In a statement to mark the occasion, Chief Oladiji described Children as the future of the nation, adding that for a sustainable growth and development, no nation dares toy with the future of the children.
The Speaker noted that the Aiyedatiwa led APC government in Ondo State is not living any stone unturned towards ensuring a greater and better future for children in the sunshine state.
” Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa recently gave approval for recruitment of teachers in primary and secondary schools in Ondo State with a view to repositioning and strengthening the education sector for greater productivity”.
” Also, in a bid to assuage the hardship prompted by high cost of fuel on parents, and poised to ensure unhindered access to school by school children, Governor Aiyedatiwa purchased more free shuttle buses to complement the existing ones across the state.”
Chief Oladiji encouraged children to take advantage of the available opportunities provided by the state government for them to advance in their studies and compete favourably with their peers across the country.
While congratulating the children on this year’s children day celebration the Speaker pledged readiness of the legislature to work with the executive arm towards facilitating a brighter future for the children.
