The Chief Executive Officer of Inter Atlas Synergy Limited and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Femi Meshe, has donated books to libraries of public secondary schools across Ondo State in honour of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s 61st birthday.

The presentation of the books took place on Tuesday at the office of the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology in Akure to commemorate the governor’s birthday celebrated on January 12, 2026.
Represented by Mr. Adeyeye Michael, Meshe said the gesture was aimed at complementing the state government’s efforts to promote quality education, particularly in public schools.
He noted that the donation reflected his commitment to supporting educational development and strengthening the reading culture among students across the state.
Receiving the books on behalf of the ministry, the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, commended Meshe for the initiative, describing it as a significant contribution that would enhance learning and academic excellence in public secondary schools.
Ajibefun said well-equipped libraries provide students with a conducive academic environment to concentrate, research and explore diverse subjects in a peaceful setting.
The commissioner also appealed to Meshe to consider supporting the ministry in establishing Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres ahead of the planned transition by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) from paper-based examinations to computer-based testing.
Speaking further, Meshe praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for what he described as remarkable strides in infrastructure and education across the three senatorial districts of the state.
He also lauded the governor for ongoing major projects, including the revalidation of the Ondo State Seaport licence, the modular refinery project and the proposed methanol and ammonium plant aimed at boosting local chemical and fertiliser production.
Meshe pledged continued support for the administration’s efforts to advance development and make Ondo State economically competitive.
He also assured the ministry that he would consider its request for the establishment of a well-equipped CBT centre in the state.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Akindele Ige, alongside directors of the ministry.
