Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of 32 officers as Permanent Secretaries in the Ondo State Civil Service.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the appointments were made in recognition of the officers’ experience, competence, and dedication to public service.
Those appointed as Permanent Secretaries are;
Mrs Tayo Ogundare; Mrs Morayo M. Bayo-Philip; Adeyemi Sule; Mrs Olufunso Tunji-Omoniyi; Olanrewaju Abiodun; Tope Lebile, mni; Stephen R. Aworere; Omotayo Akeju; Olufemi Moyinolorun; Olakunle Ajibade; Mrs Oluwakemi Akinyemi; Bamidele Daisi; Engr. Akinluyi Omotola; Olumide Kinga; Mrs Ope Adetoye; Olusiji Olatunji.
Others are; Mrs Oluseyi Odusola; Mrs Funke Adelayi; Dr Akindele Ige; Olanrewaju Akarakiri; Dr Mrs Abike Ilawole; Tpl. Abimbola Tofowomo; Kolawole B. Kayode; Dr Peter Akingbade; Ayodeji Ogudare; Adeduro Niyi Akinbola; Engr. Ibidapo Ojo; Olusegun Orisabinone; Surv. Idowu A. Owolabi; Adeoye O. Atibioke; Mrs Toyin O. Awotoye; Ayodeji Ayeku.
Furthermore, the Governor has approved the confirmation of the following officers into key statutory positions:
Olusola Sunday Ajayi as Statistician-General and Dr Charles Tunde Ojuolape as Auditor-General for Local Governments, subject to clearance by the Ondo State House of Assembly.
The statement added that the appointment takes effect from February 1, 2026.
It further read that the swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed officers will be held on a date to be announced later.
