Gov Akeredolu’s Return Brought Calm to the State, Says Hon Chris Ayebusiwa

The resumption of the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON, to the state has been described as relieving.

Hon Chris Ayebusiwa, who represents Okitipupa Constituency I at the Ondo State House of Assembly, made the remark in a statement he personally released to the journalists.

Governor Akeredolu who returned to the state on Thursday has been away from the state on an extended medical leave for three months.

Ayebusiwa said: “The Governor’s return has calmed raging nerves and brought a huge relief to the state. It happened at a time his absence from the state was direly felt by all and sundry, and his typically effective offerings through governance was highly clamoured for.

It is no surprise therefore that his home-coming was resounding, heroic and triumphant. The return was even more relieving and reassuring because Mr Governor resumed work immediately; met with critical government actors, including the legislative arm, and displayed great energy.”

The lawmaker rejoiced with the governor, his family and the entire state, saying: “I rejoice with Mr Governor, His immediate and extended family members, political family, his teeming admirers and the entire state. We wish him complete health and renewed strength to deliver continued dividends to the people.”
