Ijogun lauds Senator Adegbomire over multi-million naira projects in OGSA

The Global President of Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, Alumni Association, Dr. Niyi Ijogun has applauded the flagged-off of the Multi-Million Naira Projects in Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, Ondo State.

In his words, he expressed his appreciation to the Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Senator Adeniyi Adegbomire SAN to have facilitated this laudable projects in Oyemekun Grammar School, which he believed would serve a great purpose at advancing the educational programmes of the school.

He attributed this feat to God’s favour and the collaborative efforts of the Alumni Association members and the school management. He also commended the important roles played by a member of the Alumni Association, Mr. Tunde Adejuyigbe SAN at consolidating the choice of Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure for the project.

Ijogun in the same vein expressed his optimism that the projects will in no small small measures boost the teaching and learning activities of the students and the tutors.

The projects to be executed include the construction of 5,000 seats Multipurpose Hall, 12 Classrooms Block, Construction and Equipment of Science Laboratory and renovations of dilapidated classrooms.

Senator Adeniyi Adegbomire SAN, who was represented at the ground breaking ceremony by his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Akinloye Bolarinde reiterated the commitment of the Senator at ensuring completion of the project in no distant time. He said the project is to further make the school conducive for students to learn, as he sees them as leaders of tomorrow.

The Contractor handling Project, Engr. Segun Olatunji, said the project is expected to be delivered in six months from the flagged-off date.

The School Principal, Mr. Okeowo Ogunleye also appreciated Senator Adeniyi Adegbomire SAN for this gesture, and to have considered Oyemekun Grammar School, Akure, as a beneficiary, among the schools in Ondo State for this project.
