The Parlimentary Secretary of House of Assembly and Member representing Ondo West, Constituency I, Otunba Moyinolorun Ogunwumiju, has congratulated the member of the House of Representatives for Ondo East/Ondo West Federal Constituency, Honourable Abiola Makinde, as he clocks 50 years today.

The lawmaker who chairs the House Committee on Works, in a statement he personally signed and released to the media, described Makinde as a leader who has raised the standard of representation and redefined community leadership.

In his words, “There is no gainsaying that, through quality deliveries, you have reasonably raised the standard of legislative representation and redefined the essence of community leadership. These ideals are worth celebrating in a man who whose mileage has been defined by worthy accomplishments and burning love for the people.

“Attaining the golden jubilee, for your kind, is something that comes to me with a sense of deep joy and personal fulfilment. This is because yours is a lustrous fifty, pointedly laced with plaudits and laudable leaps, both for yourself and the community which you committedly represents.”

Hon Ogunwumiju wishes Makinde the very best as he marks golden jubilee, saying:
“As you commemorate the fiftieth birth anniversary, I wish you renewed vigour, strength and courage for continued win.”
