NAANS hails Aiyedatiwa over support to rainstorm victims in Ita-Ogbolu
On behalf of the members of National Association of Akure North Students (NAANS), I extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his prompt and generous response to the rainstorm disaster that affected some households in Ita-Ogbolu earlier this year.
The recent donation of relief materials, including bags of cement, mattresses, iron sheets, and nails to over 300 affected households, is a testament to the Governor’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Ondo State. We are particularly grateful for the Governor’s swift action and fulfillment of his promise, as conveyed by his deputy, Mr. Olayide Adelami, during the inspection of the affected areas a few months ago.
We also appreciate the Governor’s directive that these materials be distributed without regard to political affiliations, underscoring the inclusive nature of his administration’s policies.
In light of this support, we call upon the leadership of our community, particularly the Ogbolu of Ita-Ogbolu, Oba Idowu Faborede, and the Chairman of the Ita-Ogbolu Development Council, Mr. Steve Ojo, to ensure that these palliative materials are distributed efficiently and equitably. It is crucial that every affected household receives their fair share, and that the materials are used effectively to rebuild and restore the community.
We also encourage all beneficiaries to use these resources judiciously, prioritising the restoration of their homes and the safety of their families. Proper utilization of these materials will help expedite the recovery process and return a sense of normalcy to our community.
Once again, we thank Governor Aiyedatiwa and his administration for their responsiveness and support. We pledge our continued cooperation with the state government to promote the welfare and development of the Akure North constituency.
E-Signed:
Comrade Oluwalade Oluwafemi
President, National Association of Akure North Students (NAANS), National Body.
