Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has said no stone will be left unturned to ensure rapid and overall development of the state towards promoting the economic well-being of the people.
He made this assertion during a meeting with party stakeholders at the Cocoa Conference Hall in Akure on Friday.
As the November 16 governorship election in Ondo State approaches, Governor Aiyedatiwa reiterated his commitment to fostering inclusiveness within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He pledged to prioritize the state’s development without politicizing the process and urged party members to put party interests above personal ambitions for the greater good of Ondo State.
Aiyedatiwa’s remarks were made in the presence of Jimi Odimayo, a federal lawmaker representing Okitipupa/Irele, and his campaign team, who formally endorsed the governor.
Odimayo, highlighting Aiyedatiwa’s credibility, announced the integration of his campaign structure with the governor’s efforts to secure an APC victory in the upcoming election.
Mr. Akin Adeniyi, Director General of the Jimi Odimayo Campaign Organization, commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his dedication to the party.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the state’s rapid and comprehensive development.
He called on all residents to support his administration in achieving significant economic growth and making Ondo State a model of progress.
Odimayo appealed to APC members to move past the primaries and unite behind Governor Aiyedatiwa, promising continued implementation of impactful policies under the party’s leadership.
