Oba Ile youths progressive movement has appreciated the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu for the establishment of the Igba Otun LCDA with its headquarters in Oba-Ile.

In a press statement issued by the president of Oba Ile youths progressive movement, Mr Olufunmilayo Fasemore, the recent announcement of the creation of Local Government Development Areas (LCDAs) across the state, including the establishment of the Igba Otun LCDA with its headquarters in Oba-Ile, is indeed a monumental step towards progress and prosperity for Oba Ile community.

“The creation of the Igba Otun LCDA holds great significance for our community. By bringing governance closer to us, you have ignited a beacon of hope for the residents of Oba Ile. This thoughtful and strategic move ensures that decisions affecting our community are made with a keen understanding of our unique needs, goals, and challenges”.

“The impact of the Igba Otun LCDA on our community cannot be overstated as it allows us to actively engage in the development process, and contribute to the decisions that directly affect our daily lives. By providing a platform for grassroots participation, the Igba Otun LCDA will ensure improved accountability and collaboration between the Ondo State Government institutions and the citizens they serve”.

“In light of this promising development, we would like to respectfully offer a recommendation regarding the nomination of individuals to serve as representatives of the Igba Otun LCDA. We humbly recommend that nominations be extended to all qualified individuals regardless of their political affiliation”.
