Hon. Olabanji Atanmuyide, a prominent political figure in Akure South Local Government of Ondo State, has intensified efforts to rally support for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the upcoming governorship election. Ahead of the November 16 election, Atanmuyide has been actively mobilizing his constituency to back Aiyedatiwa’s re-election, further bolstering the governor’s campaign.

As CEO of the Olabanji Progressive Forum, Atanmuyide recently distributed food items worth millions of naira to his constituents. He emphasized that this gesture reflects his commitment to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration, which he praised for advancing economic sectors, particularly agriculture, and for fostering hope among residents. He encouraged his constituents to mobilize support within their communities to secure Aiyedatiwa’s re-election and allow the administration to continue its developmental work.

Atanmuyide highlighted Governor Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to empowering women through strategic appointments and lauded his initiatives in education and agriculture. He noted that these policies have positively impacted communities across Ondo State, benefiting youth and other groups.

“The distribution of palliatives is not only an expression of our support but a recognition of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s achievements so far,” Atanmuyide remarked, urging both men and women to turn out in large numbers to vote for the governor on November 16.

In a show of support, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, attended the event and opened proceedings. He emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa has laid a strong foundation for progress and expressed confidence that, if re-elected, the governor would further elevate opportunities and quality of life across Ondo State.

The event attracted APC leaders, ward chairpersons, and women leaders from Akure South, all of whom reinforced their commitment to Aiyedatiwa’s vision for the state. Atanmuyide’s efforts have become a unifying force within the APC in Akure South, underscoring his influential role in shaping the region’s political future.
