Ondo 2024: We’ll vote massively for Aiyedatiwa, Akoko S/E pledges

Akoko South East local government area of Ondo State has pledged to come out en masse at the November 16 gubernatorial election to vote for Governor Aiyedatiwa.

Residents of Ipe, Ipesi, Epinmi, Ifira, Isua, all in Akoko South East unanimously declared that Governor Aiyedatiwa remains in power beyond 2025.
At the palace of Oba Akinyele Adesunloye Oyolola, the Olisua of Isua Akoko, the Governor said his administration has always prioritized inclusive governance, and will continue to ensure that every part of the state feels represented.
During the visit, Oba Akinyele Adesunloye commended the Governor for appointing indigenes of the community into his government, stressing that the community has no reason not to support his election.

“Your Excellency, we appreciate the progress your administration has made so far, especially in appointing sons and daughters of our council area into your administration. This gesture has given us a sense of belonging, and we thank you for recognizing our people”, the monarch said, before presenting the needs of the people to the Governor.
Addressing his excited supporters, Governor Aiyedatiwa appreciated them for coming out to show their love, adding that he won’t take them for granted. He charged them to translate their love into vote for him during the election.
Speaking at Isua, the headquarters of Akoko South East local government, Governor Aiyedatiwa said “We are sure that Akoko South East local government will deliver for APC come November 16, 2024 during the Governorship election. The indigenes of the major communities in the local government visited today all came out in their large numbers to receive us, not just that, they were so joyful, celebrating as if we’ve actually won the election.
“The demonstration of love and reception that they have shown, signifies that they are ready to vote for our party. I’m so excited and happy that the result of this place is known already from the leaders. Because all the major political leaders that were in other political parties before across the State, not just in Akoko South East have all defected into APC, the community leaders, traditional leaders have spoken with one voice that the vote for this time is for APC.
“I have no doubt that they will not stand by their words, they will stand by their words and instruct their people to vot for APC, he concluded.
