Ondo Speaker Charges Assembly Staff On Commitment To Work

The staff of Ondo State House of Assembly have been charged to always be alive to their responsibilities and at the same time work for the overall interest of the House.

Speaking during his maiden address at the House of Assembly Complex, the Speaker of the House,Rt.Hon.Olamide Oladiji said it is only through the collective effort of all and sundry that a common goal could be achieved.

According to him,all is now set to reward diligence and excellence, saying that such initiative would further motivate workers to put in their best at all times.

While calling on the staff to be committed to duty,the Speaker assured that the leadership of the House would give priority to their welfare.

Earlier,the Clerk of the House,Barr.Benjamin Jaiyeola congratulated Oladiji on his emergence as the new Speaker of the House of Assembly.

While assuring of the unalloyed support of the members of staff for efficient service delivery, Jaiyeola said no stone would be left unturned to enforce discipline among the staff.

Among those at the meeting were the Deputy Speaker of the House,Rt.Hon.Abayomi Akinrutan, Majority Leader, Honourable Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi,Hon.Ololade Gbegudu,Hon.Akinsuroju Akindolani among others.
