The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on Tuesday, stretched his campaign tour to Akoko South West, Owo and Ose local government areas of Ondo State.

Governor Aiyedatiwa’s loyalists in the three local governments all reiterated their unalloyed support to the Governor, stressing that it is unwavering.

The 6th day of the tour on started started at Oka Akoko, headquarters of Akoko South West local government area and ended at Owo local government.

In Akoko South West Local Government, Governor Aiyedatiwa was welcomed triumphantly by his supporters, as they couldn’t hide their happiness and excitement.

Addressing the crowd, Governor Aiyedatiwa urged them not to limit their support to the campaign alone, they should also come out largely on the day of the primary election to vote for him.

He also, inaugurated his campaign office donated by the Special Adviser on Transportation, Akogun Olugbenga Omole in Oka Akoko.

Earlier, Governor Aiyedatiwa had paid homage to the palace of the Olubaka of Oka, Oba Yusuf Adebori Adeleye, before proceeding to meet his supporters at St. Patrick Catholic school, Oka-Akoko.

While giving his royal blessings, Oba Adeley assured Governor Aiyedatiwa that the people of Oka and Akoko South West in general are solidly behind him.

At Ose Local Government, Governor Aiyedatiwa promised increased developmental projects, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing security, healthcare, agriculture, and road infrastructure in the State.

At Owo local government, Governor Aiyedatiwa stated that all the local governments visited in the last 5 days, the people have been chanting continuity.

He added that It’s the same voice and resolution from all the traditional rulers across the State.

Addressing his people at Methodist Primary school, Fajuyi in Owo, the Governor commended his supporters for coming out in their large numbers to support him physically to chant their resolve that he should continue beyond 2025.

The Governor urged everyone to maintain decorum, should not be violent, play the game like sports man and shun campaign calumny.

However, All Progressives Congress in Owo local government welcomed two people into the party.

Also, the Governor had visited the palace of Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye to receive the Monarch’s blessings.

Governor Aiyedatiwa was accompanied by by his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi, former Deputy Senate Leader, Prof. Robert Ajayi Boroffice, Chairman of the campaign, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, Mr Bola Ilori, Dr. Tola, Awosika, Ambassador Sola Iji, Chief Jamiu Ekungba, Dr. Victor Ategbole, Mr. Mathew Oyerinmade (Mato), Minister of Interior, Hon. Bumi Tunji-Ojo who was represented by member representing Akoko NE/NW Federal constituency, Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, Dr Ade Adeogun, Hon. Sunday Olajide, Hon. Abiola Makinde.
