Remains of Madam Theresa Enisuoh laid to rest

The hall of St. Peter ‘ Catholic Church, Agbere in Bayelsa State was crowded with dignitaries from all works of life gathered to celebrate a life well spent of late Madam Theresa Virginia Enisuoh who dead at the age of 80 years and remains was laid to rest.
The Officiating Priest, Rev. Fr. Cletus Okonkwo ,(HFFBY) at the ceremony while delivering his message urged Nigerians to retrace their steps by going back to God Almighty and working on their orientation so as to correct the moradecandence in the society.
Rev. Fr. Cletus who is also the currently Parish Priest made a passionate appealed to Federal and State government, well-meaning individuals to commit their resources to the development of their various communities by providing necessary basic amenities. Adding that lack of development and basic amenities in many communities in the Niger-Delta has resulted to so many untimely death of babies and adults who would have been featured leaders of Nigeria.
Speaking on characters and attitudes as humans, he equally applead to individuals to leave a life worthy of emulation and what they would be remembered for. “It’s the legacy that you leave behind that will be spoken of long after you have departed this world”. He also applauded the Enisuoh family for the various supports given to communities and the Church. “This family has brought this community happiness since the death of Late Madam Theresa” he added.
In his remarks, the Executive Director, Operations, Tantita Securities Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL), Captain Warredi Enisuoh who is also the Son of the deceased, appreciated all the guests who despite their busy travelled down to the town of Agbere to grace the occasion.
According to Warredi who double as a Captain in Ship and Pilot “When I was young, I used to hear of the Niger-Delta as an oil producing region. It is however shocking to see the lack of development in the region due to the lack of basic infrastructure despite the huge abundance of resources”.
Special recognition was giving to for High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo popularly known as Tompolo and all the Gbaramatu Kingdom High Chiefs that were on hand to celebrate with him.
He also praised Chief Kestin Pondi., Managing Director of TSSNL and the entire theme who were on ground for their support and presence during the burial ceremony.
More so, the Maritime Reporter’s Association of Nigeria (MARAN) who stormed the event with a huge delegation led by the President of the association, Godfrey Bivbere wasn’t left out.
Also Present were dignitaries from maritime sectors, government agencies, current and former Directors.
