A book highlighting the major accomplishments of Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s 10 months in office was unveiled on Sunday.

The book titled “Governor Aiyedatiwa’s Season of Success Story” is written by Chairman, Ondo West local government, Hon. Ayotunde Akinfolarin.

In his welcome address, the Author of the book, Hon. Akinfolarin the Governor has displayed a good governance in the last 10 months, adding that the book launch was imperative as the Governor’s achievements must be showcased.

He added that the Governor’s many revolutions in terms Roads, Infrastructure, Education, agriculture, business, Socio-Economic & political in just 10 months have yielded positive and enormous dividends which is praise worth and highly commendable.

He noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s choice of Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami as the deputy governor has been widely applauded.

The National leader of Afenifere who is the Convener of the event, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, expressed his delightness in being a part of the Governor’s success story, commending the publisher for the good initiative.

The elder Statesman commited the book to the entire people of Ondo State, describing the Governor as the right man for the job.

The Chairman of the occasion, the Olu of Ilu Abo, Chief Oluyemi Falae who was represented by the State Chairman, Afenifere in Chief Korede Duyile, commended the Author of the book for his efforts, stressing that the publication is coming at the right time.

He noted that what the Governor has done in 10 months, he will do more than that in four years, hence, the reason Ondo State citizens should vote for him during the election.

In his goodwill message, Former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, represented by former Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jumoke Akindele, urged the people to keep supporting the Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration for the good works to continue.

While expressing his pride in the author of the book, Mimiko described the book as a testament to the good works of the Governor and an encouragement to keep the flag flying.

Also speaking, the Chairman, Ilaje Local Government, Hon. Igbekele Akinrinwa noted that the book captured the good works of the Governor in 10 months. He added that the publisher has done a good work by writing the book to honour the Governor.

Responding, Governor Aiyedatiwa appreciated the author for the honour done him, acknowledging his efforts in putting the words together, adding that the publication will help my campaign.

The Governor reiterated his commitment to the development of all sectors across the State, stressing that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring that the people of the State live a good life.

The Governor appreciated Afenifere leader for his love and also his cabinet members and other political appointees for their support and for their contribution to the decision making and policies that will benefit the State.

The event held at the international culture and events center (The Dome) had in attendance; Former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, Represented by former Ondo Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Jumoke Akindele, members of the State Executive Council, Hon. Bakinwa from AAUA, State Chairman SUBEB, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, Traditional rulers among other eminent personalities.
