Chiarman, House Committee on Tertiary Institutions at the 10th Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Chris Ayebusiwa, has avowed commitment to the progress of tertiary institutions in the State.

He gave his avowal on Thursday while he led the House Committee on Tertiary Institutions to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in Okitipupa.

His words: “As legislators and committee saddled with the responsibility to regulate the activities of tertiary institutions in the state, it is a matter of responsibility for us to ensure that we support the higher institutions to thrive. And we’ll do all in our powers to do this.”

Hon Ayebusiwa commended the leadership of OAUSTECH under the Vice Chancellor, Professor Temi Ologunorisa, saying: “I should like to note and commend the very warm, productive and progressive relationship that this committee has since cultivated with this noble university through its Vice Chancellor since we came on board.
Thank you, Mr Vice Chancellor, for the good works you are doing in the University.”

The lawmaker also commended the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, who he described as the ideal leader for a time like this.

“I want to applaud our amiable Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his strides in the education sector, for doing so great in continuation of the legacy of Gov Akeredolu and for showing worthy leadership in a time like this.”
