Member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Chris Ayebusiwa, has averred that the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Speaker Olamide Oladiji, earned his new position on the strength of his leadership finesse.

Rt. Hon. Speaker Olamide Oladiji has emerged as Vice Chairman (South) of the Nigeria Speakers’ Conference earlier in the week.

Hon Ayebusiwa, in a congratulatory statement he personally signed and released on his Facebook page, said Oladiji’s trait of dedication to work and progressive leadership style with which he has conducted the 10th Assembly attracted him to his colleagues.

In his words, “It is no surprise to us, Mr Speaker, that your typical trait of dedication to work and progressive leadership style with which you have since conducted the affairs of the 10th Assembly have attracted your colleagues to the extent that you have been found worthy of another critical assignment on a bigger pedestal.

We have huge confidence in your ability and capacity to deliver on this assignment, given your pedigree and leadership credentials; we therefore trust that you will do us proud and bring home laurels.”

Chris, who represents Okitipupa Constituency I at the House of Assembly, expressed good wishes to Mr Speaker, saying, “As you take on the pivotal assignment, we wish you the strength and wisdom to deliver on the mandate and the abiding grace to continue to win.”
