……….Says we’ll consistently prioritise projects that directly impact people’s lives

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Thursday, commissioned General hospital road in Ondo town, marking a significant milestone in his first 100 days in office.
According to him, his first 100 days are merely a prelude to sustained action, as his administration is resolute in its unwavering determination to build a State that is economically vibrant, socially cohesive and infrastructuraly robust, in perfect alignment with both the ambitious development as encapsulated in “OUR EASE” agenda and the national Renewed Hope Agenda.

He noted that the Hospital Road project is a strategic investment, meticulously planned and executed, designed to deliver tangible benefits to the vibrant communities of Ondo City and all who rely on its crucial passage to access vital medical care, adding that the project embodies the core tenets of “OUR EASE” Agenda, ensuring smoother transit, improved access and ultimately enhanced quality of life for the people.
He stressed that the challenging narrative of distressing reports of ambulances struggling to navigate potholes, the challenges faced by families trying to access emergency care, and the general lament from community members about the deplorable state of the road has changed fundamentally.
“The Hospital Road in Ondo City, serves as a critical link to the General Hospital, the Ondo State University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital Complex, and other medical facilities and residential areas”, he said.

He appreciated those who toiled tirelessly, often under challenging conditions, to bring the vision to fruition, and also, the people for their patience.
“As we continue to move forward, strategically guided by the overarching principles of our “OUR EASE” Agenda and the transformative Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, we will consistently prioritise projects that directly impact the lives of our people, stimulate robust and diversified economic growth and significantly enhance the overall attractiveness of Ondo State as a prime destination for sustainable investment and comprehensive development”.
Earlier in his address, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Abiola Olawoye, appreciated Governor Aiyedatiwa for his vision towards infrastructural development in Ondo State and his efforts in advancing infrastructure in the State.
He noted the road has a length of 1.5 kilometers, adding that contractors are working in other parts of Ondo community like Ayeyemi, Valentino, Sabo. He appreciated all the stakeholders involved in the success of the commissioning, urging the contractor to speed up their work.
In his good will message, Member representing Ondo East/West federal constituency, Dr. Abiola Makinde commended the Governor for fulfilling his campaign promises and for his impactful governments. He also prayed for more grace for the Governor.
Member, Ondo State House of Assembly, Representing Ondo West Constituency 1, Hon. Taiwo Ogunwumiju, hailed the Governor for his benevolence to the people of Ondo town. He noted that the road will be beneficial to the people, as accidents will reduce. He also pledged their unwavering support to the Governor.
Also speaking, Ondo West Local Government chairman, Engr. Ayotunde Akinfolarin noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration is committed to infrastructural development and general well being of the people. He added that Governor Aiyedatiwa deserves to be celebrated for his excellence leadership.
The Osemawe of Ondo kingdom, Dr Adesimbo Kiladejo who was represented by the Lisa of Ondo, High Chief Simon Oguntimehin, noted that the Governor has started well, appreciated his love for the people of the State, wishing him a pleasant reign in office.
