Akoko North East LG Chairman lauds Gov Ayedatiwa’s efforts in combating crime

The Chairman, Akoko North East Local Government, Hon. Mohammed Mutiu Olawale, on Wednesday, embarked on a significant visit to the site of the Nigerian Army Forward Operating Base (FOB),at Auga Akoko.

A forward Operating Base (FOB) is a temporary or semi-permanent military base established in a remote or forward location, internal and external.the primary purpose is to provide support and logistics for military operations, allowing troops to project power and conduct missions in the surrounding area in order to curb insecurity,

He laud Governor Aiyedatiwa for his unwavering commitment to enhancing the security and development of Akoko North East. His approval of a temporary permanent site for military within the base is a testament to his dedication to protecting our citizens and promoting regional growth.

“This base marks a significant milestone in the efforts to strengthen security and development in Akoko North East.
the safety and security of lives and properties remain my top priority. As the responsibility of the chairman to secure lives and property, I ensured that the military base prioritizes the safety of the communities. With the completion of this project, Akoko North East is now more secured from kidnapping, herdsmen, and other social vices.

Hon. Olawale was accompanied by the Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Union matters and Special Duties, Comrade Bola Taiwo and Brigade Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade, Akure, Brigadier General Justin Ifeanyi.
