First Aquagrico Farms has begun a major recruitment drive, offering 200 full-time positions for Growers and Junior Agronomists — the first stage of a much larger expansion.
The company, a family-run agro-tech enterprise located in the Ondo Highlands, combines decades of indigenous farming knowledge with modern innovation. Although formally established in 2016, its roots in agriculture stretch back to the early 20th century. With a strong focus on safe food production and community development, the organisation is now broadening its workforce.
This initial hiring phase covers 200 new roles, with an additional 300 positions expected soon as the farm transitions from a 2-hectare hydroponic setup to a fully automated, 10-hectare greenhouse system powered by advanced Dutch technology.
