Temitayo Oluseye Oluwatuyi, as he marked one year since his passing, describing him as a dependable partner in governance whose legacy of selfless service remains indelible.

In a heartfelt remembrance message on the solemn anniversary, Governor Aiyedatiwa said the pain of Oluwatuyi’s death remains deep, but noted that the State is grateful for a life devoted to integrity, humility and dedicated public service.

He described the late SSG as a man of rare character who served Ondo State with diligence, compassion and an unwavering commitment to fairness and inclusiveness.

The Governor recalled that as Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Oluwatuyi discharged his responsibilities with exceptional civility and professionalism, earning the respect of colleagues and stakeholders across the State.

He noted that the late SSG was widely known for his warm disposition, steady optimism and belief in the promise of Ondo State, qualities that reassured and motivated others even in challenging moments.

Governor Aiyedatiwa added that Oluwatuyi demonstrated a strong passion for the welfare of the people, particularly the most vulnerable, and worked tirelessly to strengthen governance and institutional harmony in the State.

According to him, although the former SSG passed on too soon, his contributions and ideals continue to inspire those who served with him.

While extending heartfelt condolences to the wife, children, the Oluwatuyi family and the Akure community, the Governor prayed that the cherished memories of the late SSG’s love, devotion and laughter would continue to provide comfort and strength.

Governor Aiyedatiwa urged public office holders to honour the memory of Hon. Oluwatuyi by upholding the values he stood for, stressing that his sacrifices should not be in vain.

He called on leaders to serve with integrity, compassion and an unrelenting commitment to the development of Ondo State.

“Though he is gone, Hon. Temitayo Oluseye Oluwatuyi will forever remain in our hearts and in the history of our dear State,” the Governor said, praying for the repose of his gentle soul.
