The Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations, Wale Akinlosotu, has joined millions of Nigerians and admirers across the world in celebrating elder statesman and Afenifere leader, Reuben Fasoranti, on the occasion of his 100th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Akinlosotu described the nonagenarian as a symbol of integrity, courage, wisdom and selfless service whose contributions to the Yoruba nation and Nigeria remain invaluable.
He said Fasoranti’s unwavering commitment to justice, democracy, good governance and national unity had earned him a revered place in the hearts of many generations.
According to the commissioner, the elder statesman has continued to inspire leaders and followers alike through his humility, principled leadership and steadfast devotion to the progress of the Yoruba race and the Nigerian nation.
Akinlosotu noted that Fasoranti’s dedication to truth, justice and progressive leadership remains a guiding light and source of inspiration across the country.
“At 100, Baba’s life remains a testament to grace, sacrifice, discipline and uncommon patriotism. His enduring legacy will continue to guide and strengthen present and future generations,” he stated.
He described the Afenifere leader as a quintessential statesman, rare elder and living legend whose life of service deserves celebration.
Akinlosotu prayed for continued peace, sound health, strength and more fulfilled years for the centenarian in service to humanity.
