……Commends consensus process, rallies support for Makinde, APC candidates
Otunba Wale Akinlosotu has officially withdrawn his aspiration for the House of Representatives seat for Ondo East/West Federal Constituency, reaffirming his total loyalty and commitment to the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the ideals of the All Progressives Congress.
Akinlosotu, the Hon. Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations, said his decision was borne out of deep respect for party supremacy, unity and the collective interest of the APC ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
He commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for the maturity, wisdom and exceptional leadership displayed throughout the consensus process, noting that the Governor once again demonstrated his commitment to fairness, inclusiveness and the stability of the party in Ondo State.
According to him, the peaceful conduct of the process and the manner in which stakeholders were carried along remain unprecedented and worthy of commendation.
Akinlosotu called on his supporters, political associates and the good people of Ondo East and West Federal Constituency to remain steadfast and united behind the APC and its candidates at all levels.
He rallies massive support for the re-election of Hon. Makinde and all candidates of the party, stressing that the victory of the APC remains paramount above personal ambition.
“I remain loyal and committed to the leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa and the progress of our great party. My aspiration has always been driven by service to our people and the development of our constituency. At this critical moment, unity, peace and party cohesion must come first,” he stated.
Akinlosotu expressed profound appreciation to party leaders, elders, stakeholders, youths, women groups, supporters and members of the APC across Ondo East and West for their encouragement, prayers and overwhelming support throughout the period of consultation and engagement.
He assured them that his resolve to continue contributing meaningfully to the growth of the party and the development of the constituency remains unwavering.
“Together, we shall continue to work for the success of our party and the advancement of Ondo State,” he concluded.
