The Sunshine Grassroots Alliance (SUGA) has congratulated the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa over what it described as the peaceful, successful and credible conduct of the party’s primaries across the state.
In a statement issued in Ondo State, the group praised the conduct of the House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senatorial and Presidential primaries, noting that the exercise reflected the unity and growing strength of the APC in the state.
SUGA commended party leaders, aspirants, members and supporters for displaying maturity, discipline and commitment to democratic principles throughout the exercise.
The group particularly lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa for his leadership style, calm disposition and inclusive approach, which it said contributed immensely to the smooth and hitch-free conduct of the primaries.
According to the group, the successful conclusion of the congresses and primaries has further strengthened confidence in the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
SUGA also called on party members, aspirants and supporters to close ranks and embrace reconciliation in the interest of the party and the development of Ondo State.
The socio-political movement urged all APC faithful to rally behind candidates who emerged from the primaries and work collectively to secure victory for the party in the 2027 polls.
It added that unity, loyalty and dedication among party members would guarantee success for the APC under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Aiyedatiwa.
