Ondo NULGE Hails Odusanya’s appointment as Head of Service

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees in Ondo State has congratulated Chief Segun Odusanya on his appointment as the new Head of Service, describing his emergence as a reward for years of dedicated service and professionalism in the state public service.

In a statement issued on Friday by its State President, Comrade Fredrick Akinrinlola, the union said Odusanya’s appointment reflected his commitment, competence and track record in public administration.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa recently approved Odusanya’s appointment following the retirement of the immediate past Head of Service, a move that has attracted commendation from stakeholders within the state civil service.

Akinrinlola said the appointment demonstrated the confidence reposed in Odusanya by the government and members of the public service, expressing optimism that the new Head of Service would bring his wealth of experience to bear in strengthening the civil service.

According to him, Odusanya possesses the leadership qualities required to drive reforms, improve workers’ welfare and enhance efficiency across ministries, departments and agencies in the state.

He said, “Chief Segun Odusanya’s appointment is a testament to his competence, consistency and integrity in public service. We are confident that he will provide the leadership needed to further improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ondo State public service.”

The NULGE president also reaffirmed the union’s readiness to work closely with the new Head of Service in advancing good governance and improving service delivery at the grassroots level.

He noted that a productive and efficient public service remains critical to the successful implementation of government policies and programmes that impact the lives of citizens.

Akinrinlola further wished Odusanya a successful tenure and urged civil servants across the state to support him in achieving the goals of the administration.

He also prayed for wisdom, strength and guidance for the new Head of Service as he assumes responsibility for overseeing the state’s civil service.
