The National President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, High Chief Tochukwu Emmanuel Ezisi, has called on members of the association to ensure a peaceful, transparent and credible electoral process ahead of the Western Zone chapter elections.
Ezisi made the appeal in a message addressed to members across the country, particularly those in the Western Zone, urging them to uphold the association’s values throughout the electoral exercise.
He said the success of the elections would not only strengthen the association’s internal democratic process but also enhance its standing as a responsible and progressive stakeholder in Nigeria’s maritime industry.
The NAGAFF president stressed the need for members to embrace dialogue, fairness and mutual respect while avoiding actions capable of creating disunity within the association.
According to him, the unity of NAGAFF remains its greatest asset, adding that collective responsibility is essential to sustaining the progress already recorded by the association.
Ezisi also urged members to use the commencement of the second half of 2026 as an opportunity to renew their commitment to professionalism, quality service and the ideals of the association.
He expressed confidence that members would conduct themselves responsibly and ensure that the Western Zone elections became a model of credibility, orderliness and peaceful coexistence for other chapters and stakeholders in the maritime sector.
