The Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of Mr. Samuel Fakunle as Special Assistant to the Governor on Creative Media.
This was contained in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti.
According to the letter, Fakunle’s appointment which takes effect from August 1, 2026, is part of the administration’s effort to strengthen its media and communication structure through creative content and effective media engagement.
The appointment letter, dated August 10, 2026, directed the new Special Assistant to visit the Code of Conduct Bureau to obtain, complete and submit his Assets Declaration Form before assuming office.
The letter read in part: “I am pleased to inform you that the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved your appointment as Special Assistant to the Governor on Creative Media, with effect from 1st August, 2026.”
The Secretary to the State Government congratulated Fakunle on the appointment and requested him to acknowledge receipt of the letter.
With the appointment, Fakunle is expected to contribute his creative expertise to the administration’s media activities, particularly in the development and presentation of engaging content around government programmes, policies and achievements.
