Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Monday, felicitated the Olu of Ilu-Abo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olu Falae, on his 88th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, the governor, on behalf of the government and people of Ondo State, described Oba Falae as a distinguished statesman, accomplished public servant and respected traditional ruler whose contributions to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria remained significant.
Aiyedatiwa said the monarch’s wealth of experience, wisdom and commitment to peace and community development had continued to contribute to the progress of the state.
He also acknowledged Oba Falae’s contributions to public service, particularly as Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Minister of Finance, as well as his role as a prominent Yoruba leader.
The governor prayed God to grant the monarch long life, good health, greater wisdom and continued joy as he marked another year on the throne of his forebears.
Aiyedatiwa wished Oba Falae a happy birthday and many more years of fruitful service to his community, Ondo State and Nigeria.
