The Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations, *Dr. Wale Akinlosotu,* has called on APC stakeholders and members to strengthen grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid and the success of all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Akinlosotu made the call on Friday at the APC ward meeting in Igba Ward 1, Ondo East Local Government Area, where he urged party faithful to unite behind the party’s leadership and take its achievements to the grassroots.
He highlighted the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms, infrastructure development, student loan scheme and efforts to strengthen local government autonomy, describing the forthcoming elections as an opportunity for Nigerians to assess the administration’s policies and direction for the country.
The Commissioner also applauded Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s development initiatives under the OUR EASE Agenda, particularly the recent recruitment of over 3,300 health professionals across Ondo State’s 18 local government areas and more than 2,000 teachers to strengthen healthcare and education delivery.
He further cited investments in roads, healthcare facilities, advanced medical equipment and youth/women empowerment as key areas of the state government’s development drive.
Akinlosotu charged ward leaders, women and youth groups, and other party stakeholders to intensify community engagement, promote the administration’s achievements and maintain unity and discipline within the APC.
He urged party members to approach the 2027 elections with renewed commitment, stressing the importance of sustained engagement with the electorate and presenting the party’s programmes and record of governance to the people.
