Foundation donates two blocks of classrooms to Ondo community

Made Foundation, an NGO, brought relief to pupils of Laoso Community Primary School in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State on Friday by donating well-furnished two blocks of classrooms to the school.

In a message he sent to the inauguration of the classrooms, founder of the NGO, Dr Michael Ajilo, lamented years of neglect and continued use of dilapidated buildings in the school.

His message was delivered by Mr Clement Modium, an employee of the foundation.

He explained that the foundation intervened in the project because some classrooms in the school were not befitting of quality education and the safety of pupils.

He stressed that he had always wanted to give back to the community because it was the right thing to do to support government and communities.

“If we must banish poverty, lawlessness and close the doors to prisons, we must invest in education and its advancement,’’ Ajilo said.

Inaugurating the classroom project, Dr Abiola Makinde, representing Ondo West and Ondo East Federal Constituency, stressed the importance of quality education for pupils and students in rural communities.

He said quality education at the rural level would mitigate rural-urban migration and stem ignorance as education is an eye-opener and assured path to great heights.

He described Dr Ajilo as a blessing to lives and appreciated him for the good works he was doing in the community.
