The Speaker, Ondo State of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji has assured University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo of the assembly’s legislative support that will enhance the development of the institution.

He gave this assurance on Monday, while receiving the management of the institution, led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adesegun Fatusin, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

The speaker appreciated the team for their visit, stressing that they are there to protect the interest of the people.

While appealing to the Vice chancellor to extend the support the institution gave the 9th Assembly to the 10th Assembly, the speaker also encouraged them not to hesitate to approach the house when the need arises.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adesegun Fatusin appreciated the assembly for its unflinching support over the years.

He further pleaded with the legislature to help in improving the budget of the institution and make it accessible.

He added that the institution could not achieve its objectives without the input of the legislative arm.
