OCG declares support for Aiyedatiwa

Ondo Consolidated Group (OCG), on Tuesday, paid Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa a courtesy in his office, declaring their unalloyed support for him.

The State Coordinator of OCG, Engr. Oladipo Bamidele revealed that the group cuts across the 18 local governments of Ondo State. According to him, the group has a mandate to give the Governor all the necessary support to make sure that he succeeds as he moves the State forward.

The convener, Hon. Babtunde Kolawole, former Special Adviser on Rural and Community Development to Late Governor Akeredolu expressed that what led to the courtesy visit was for the continuity of the good works of Late Governor Akeredolu.

He stressed that anyone who believes in Late Governor Akeredolu’s legacy will support Governor Aiyedatiwa.

“We’ve had series of meetings and we’veseen the love and cooperation between the Late Governor and Governor Aiyedatiwa. I am Late Akeredolu’s loyalist and I have a relationship with Governor Aiyedatiwa, we want the works of the Late Governor to continue and the person that represents continuity is Governor Aiyedatiwa.

“We’ve seen reforms in the party, the last time we had the stakeholders meeting, he brought up some good and viable reforms to the party. He has also assured us of the completion of projects, started by Late Governor Akeredolu. This is the action that will lead to the well being of the people of Ondo State”.

Reacting, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa appreciated the group led by Hon. Babtunde Kolawole for the visit and their pledge.

He also reiterated his commitment to the people of Ondo State, especially those at the grassroots.

The visit ended with a branded bus for mobilization for Governor Aiyedatiwa.
