NAGAFF Tincan Chairman hails Customs Comptroller, Nnadi for rebranding command

The Chairman of Tincan Island Port chapter of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Fwdr. Chief Dr. Emeka Paul Chiedozie, has commended the Customs Area Comptroller of Tincan Island Port, Comptroller Dera Nnadi, for introducing huge reforms and rebranding the command,
with positive changes in operations, speed response to issues.

Chief Chiedozie, the Chief Executive Officer, Seagold Maritime Services Ltd, a thriving freight forwarding outfit, spoke, in Lagos on Thursday, after the official inauguration of NAGAFF’s Silver Jubilee and Aqucition of N500 million New Secretariat Planning Committee which took place at the headquarters of the association in Apapa.

Analysing how the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has made export documentation seamless, the freight forwarding expert particularly recalled that processing export documentation can now take place at only one command which is Lylipond.

Dr Emeka Chiedozie, a PhD holder in Art, Business Management and Corporate Leadership, said freight forwarding operations at Tincan Island Port is moving towards international standards.

Chief Dr Paul Emeka Chiedozie who doubles as Managing Director, Treasure Garden Hotel & Suites also applauded the CAC and other agencies who collaborated to ensure that the port access is permanently free for vehicular and human movement.

However, he appealed to relevant government agencies to move into action to regulate and reduce to the barest minimum the activities of non-state actors who are constantly harrasssing and making the haulage business difficult by extorting and intimidate legitimate truck drivers .
