CGC Adewale pledges continued collaboration with NAGAFF

The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, has expressed his appreciation for the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the partnership between Customs and the logistics supply chain.

During a recent courtesy visit from the NAGAFF delegation, led by National President High Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, at the NCS Headquarters in Abuja, Adeniyi commended the association for its dedication to its goals. He encouraged NAGAFF to continue with resilience and commitment, underscoring the importance of collaboration in areas such as trade facilitation, border security, and technology integration.

In his address, Ezisi congratulated Adeniyi on his accomplishments and extended an invitation to NAGAFF’s 25th Anniversary and fundraising event, scheduled to take place in two weeks. This milestone celebration will see the attendance of several distinguished guests, including:

•   Chief Guest of Honour: Hon. Adegoyega Oyetola, Minister of Marine and Blue Economy
•   Chief Guest of Honour: H.E. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State
•   Special Guest of Honour: Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, Comptroller-General, Nigeria Customs Service
•   Father of the Day: Chief Dr. Boniface O. Aniebonam
•   Royal Father of the Day: Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi Kusenla III, the Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom, Lekki
•   Keynote Speaker: Abubakar Dantsoho, Ph.D., Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)
•   Chairman of the Occasion: High Chief Dr. Azubuike Ekweozor, Ide Umuawulu Nwanayoeze
