Ondo 2024: Aiyedatiwa’s Aide flags off house-to-house campaign

As part of strategic move to ensure the emergence of All Progressive Congress APC candidate,governor lucky orimisan Ayedatiwa
in Ijare Local Council Development area LCDA of ondo state, the Special Assistant to the Governor on mobilization, Hon. Kunle Adu has flag off his house to house campaign for the Governor ahead of November 16 governorship election.
The special adviser while addressing the non indigenes that decamped from PDP to the ruling party of APC at the flag off ceremony ground in Irese community the LCDA area said his train will continued his house to house campaign in Ekamefa ward for the emergence of the Governor to complete his good work in the state
Hon Adu whilo stressed that his train will move from Ward to Ward unit to unit and house to house urged the party members and the decampee in the area to join hands with him and intensify house -to- house campaign for governor Ayedatiwa come November 16.
Addressing the congregation at Irese community, Hon. Adu who also appreciate the strategic approach of party members commends the efforts of the ward chairman, political leaders and community leaders in the area for their meticulous efforts.
He encouraged the party members not to relent in their efforts at securing votes for Governor Ayedatiwa as All Progressive Congress would win the election as there’s no viable opposition to the party.
Hon Adu said that the November election is going to be a walk-over for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa noting that aside the PDP, other parties in the race have no structures that can lead them to victory.
” The forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State is going to be a walk-over for the incumbent governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as there’s no viable opposition in the PDP and other small parties in the race don’t have needed structure that can win election for them”.
According to the special adviser, the echoes of economic hardship the opposition parties are using to campaign against the ruling APC will have no effect in the election as there’s nothing Aiyedatiwa can do about it as a State Governor, believing the governor would rather use his performance in the last ten months in office to campaign to the people of Ondo State.
Speaking at the flag off ceremony, the Senior Special Assistant, to the governor on public works, Hon. Engr. Alex Oladimeji disclosed that lack of vibrant opposition which ought to put the party and the candidate on their toes is lacking in the state, saying the focus and priority of the candidate, governor Ayedatiwa now is how to win election at the expense of his official duty of providing good governance to the citizens.
Engr. Oladimeji who is also the immediate past chairman of ifedore local government frowned at those calling for the removal of the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state saying it is not reasonable to call for the removal of the REC provided she acting in accordance with the rules and guidelines of INEC in regard to the Governorship Election.
The former council boss while calling the security agency to be at alert on the election day to guide against any breach of peace added that whoever apprehended should face the wrath of the law.
Earlier, the LCDA chairman Hon. Favour Ajayi in his speech at the ceremony said from videos of APC campaign across the state, Governor Aiyedatiwa is widely accepted by the people while APC Governorship Aspirants that contested with Aiyedatiwa are working for his victory but reverse is the case of the PDP as some of them are today candidates of other parties.
Hon. Adu also held a strategic meeting with the community leaders,APC stakeholders,APC leaders, Woman leader, ward canvassers, wad executives, and his campaig teams.
