NAGAFF President Calls for Greater Commitment to Advancing Maritime Sector

The National President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, has urged stakeholders in the maritime industry to recommit themselves to driving growth and innovation in the sector.

In a New Year statement sent to Trace News Magazine and signed by the president, Chief Ezisi reflected on the achievements of 2024 and expressed optimism for 2025.

“As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome a new chapter in 2025, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and commitment to NAGAFF,” the statement read.

Chief Ezisi acknowledged the challenges faced over the past year but lauded the significant strides made in enhancing members’ welfare. “The past year has been filled with challenges, but together, we have achieved great things and made notable progress. God has been faithful,” he said.

He extended special appreciation to NAGAFF’s key partners, including the Nigeria Customs Service, Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria, shipping companies, and the media.

“As we enter this new year, I encourage you all to recommit to our shared vision and goals. Let us continue to work together to drive growth, innovation, and success in our industry,” he urged stakeholders.

Concluding the message, Chief Ezisi wished all stakeholders a joyous and prosperous New Year, emphasizing the need for collaboration to unlock fresh opportunities and renewed energy in the maritime sector.
