Agbi congratulates Aiyedatiwa, hails judgment as people’s victory

Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Mobilisation and Deputy National Chairman of CaGram, Hon. Dr. Agbi Stephen Omobamidele, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his triumph at the Supreme Court in the November 16, 2024 governorship election case.

Dr. Agbi described the ruling as “a resounding affirmation of the people’s mandate and the triumph of truth over falsehood.” He noted that the unanimous dismissal of the appeals filed by the PDP, SDP and APM was more than a legal victory, calling it a reinforcement of the democratic resolve of the people.

According to him, “This unprecedented outcome is a divine seal on the overwhelming support given to our Governor at the polls. It is also a call to unity and collective responsibility as we continue to mobilize for the development of our dear state.”

The Governor’s aide commended Aiyedatiwa’s resilience and unwavering commitment to service throughout the court battles, saying he had remained focused on governance despite distractions.

He appealed to political stakeholders and residents of the state to put aside differences and rally behind the administration for the peace and progress of Ondo.

Dr. Agbi ended with prayers for divine guidance, wisdom and strength for the Governor as he continues to steer the state to greater heights.
