Akoko Reps Bye Election: I Have The Capacity To Continue BTO’s Good Works – Ife Ehindero

Ahead bye election to fill the vacant House of Representatives seat in Akoko North East/ Akoko North West Federal constituency, the leading aspirant for the seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said he is capable to fill the seat.

Speaking during a joint rally of youth and students leaders held in Ikare Akoko, Ife Ehindero emphasized the need for a competent hand to continue the indelible touch of Honorable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

“We can not afford to destroy a house our people built with their vote. I have the exposure and skills to continue the good works of Honorable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.

“I have closely worked with Honorable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, I have the developmental roadmap and I can effectively implement it. I seek the support of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the people of Akoko North East/Akoko North West Federal constituency to make this ambition a reality.”

One of the convener Comr. Saliu Wasiu Abiodun (Wesco) said that the decision to endorse Ehindero to replace the former occupier of the seat, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo was informed by the fact that he has a record of credibility and quality representation, especially in youth inclusiveness and empowerment when he was given the chance in the past.

He also disclosed that Ehindero has the requisite knowledge to represent the constituency effectively.

Speaking on behalf of the students, the National President of Akoko students, Comrade Olomosaye Olatunde Excel also noted that Ehindero has contributed a lot to the education of students in the Federal constituency. According to him, “Students who have issues with payment of school fees have enjoyed support from Ife Ehindero, those seeking to study further have also been assisted.

“We want the best for the students we lead, Ife Ehindero is the best and we will give him the maximum support to emerge.”

While addressing the rally,

Speaking on behalf of the youths in the local government, Comrade Mohammed Kazeem, the President of Akoko North East youths noted that the development of the local government ranks above any other interest.

“The interest of my local government is a priority. We saw what Honorable Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo did for our people and we trust him to give us a candidate to continue the good works. Ife Ehindero has proven to be the best, we will support him to win.”
