APC chieftain hails Aiyedatiwa’s first-year achievements, declares Reps ambition 

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Akure South Local Government Area, Hon. Dare Aliu, has praised Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration, describing it as attentive to the needs of the people, particularly at the grassroots.

Aliu highlighted the governor’s efforts in enhancing security across the state, acknowledging that while challenges exist, they are not insurmountable.

He noted that the administration is working to protect citizens from banditry and other threats, and said many residents have commended the policies and initiatives introduced over the past year.

In the same breath, Aliu disclosed his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives representing Akure Federal Constituency.

He said his ambition rests in the hands of God, stressing that if it is God’s will, he will pursue the position.

He assured constituents that they could expect good and inclusive representation, explaining that his aim is to align with the governor’s vision and promote the development of the federal constituency.

Aliu acknowledged the presence of other capable aspirants but maintained that God would ultimately choose one person.

He added that whoever emerges should receive the support of others and stated that if he is chosen, he would embrace all stakeholders to collectively move the constituency forward.
