Popular internet figure Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The news of his release was shared on Wednesday by activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore through a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

“Appreciative of everyone’s relentless efforts—@thatverydarkman has now been released from his unlawful detention by @officialEFCC. He’s currently in the company of his energetic lawyer, @adeyanjudeji,” Sowore stated.
