Dele Omosehin congratulates Ondo APC State Executives on peaceful congress, solicits support for new leadership

Dele Omosehin, the Lisa of Osooro and convener of Asejere Progressive Movement, has congratulated the newly elected State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State under the chairmanship of Hon Kolawole Babatunde.

In a press statement issued by his media office on Tuesday, Omosehin said that the peaceful conduct of the state congress in Akure was a testament to the APC’s maturity, unity, and internal democracy.

The businessman and notable philanthropist noted that the emergence of Hon. Babatunde and other members of the State Working Committee through consensus and affirmation reflects the enduring spirit of accommodation and collective responsibility within the Ondo APC.

The APC leading aspirant for Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency commended the state governor and party leader, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for providing purposeful leadership and fostering an atmosphere that encouraged harmony and discipline throughout the process.

He said the Governor’s emphasis on unity, party supremacy, and grassroots strengthening resonates strongly with the ideals upon which the APC was founded.

“To the new State Chairman, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, and the entire executive team, I extend my heartfelt congratulations. Your emergence is not merely a victory for individuals but a call to service: a call to consolidate our structures, deepen internal democracy, energise our grassroots base, and position our party for even greater electoral successes.

Omosehin called on all stakeholders of the party to remain united, saying, “Unity must remain our watchword. There are no winners or losers in a family united by common ideals. Together, we must work tirelessly to strengthen our bond, mobilise effectively across wards and local governments, and ensure that the APC in Ondo State continues to stand as a model of discipline and progress.”

“As we align with the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I assure the new leadership of my full support and cooperation in advancing the collective interest of our party and the people of Ondo State,” he said.

He prayed that the new leadership would usher in greater cohesion, strategic mobilisation, and resounding victories for the party.
