Eid-El-Kabir: Oladiji, Oleyelogun, Agboola Omotuyi Greet Muslims

As Muslims all over the world celebrate Ed -El -Kabir, a call has gone to them to re-dedicate themselves to the service of Allah and humanity which is the reason for their existence.

The Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon.Olamide Oladiji rejoiced with all Muslim brothers and sisters across the State on the occasion and enjoined them to show love to one another at all times.

While admonishing them to always adhere strictly to the teachings and lessons of Islam, he stressed the need for peaceful co-existence and promotion of unity during and after the festival.

He appreciated the Governor of the State for his love and the various laudable achievements recorded by his administration in the past 6 years.

Meanwhile, the immediate past Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyelogun has sent his warm greetings to the Muslims across the globe on the occasion of this year 2023 Eid-el-Kiabir celebration.

In a goodwill message personally signed by him, he congratulated adherents of the Islamic faith for witnessing another Eid-el-Adha.

He implored Muslims to seize the opportunities embedded in the glorious period to intensify prayers for the success of the new administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima.

“As Muslims across the globe celebrate Eid-el-Kabir this year, it is my prayers to the Almighty God to accept our worship and supplications, grant us his guidance and place our Sunshine State (Ondo) and country on the path of peace and sustainable development”.

“I urge all Muslims Across the globe to imbibe the lessons of Eid-el-Adha as exemplified by Prophet Ibraheem for peace to reign in our land,”.

In a related development, he prayed for for our Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN,CON, that God should grant him speedy recovery and longevity in good health.

He enjoined Muslims to continue to be their brother’s keeper, promote unity and cohesion in whatever they do and as well, continue to live in harmony with other fellow Nigerians in fulfilment of the commandment of Allah, and teachings and lessons of the Holy Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W).

“On behalf of myself and my entire family, I rejoice with our brothers and sisters in Islam across the world on the occasion of this year 2023 Eid-el-Kabir”.

In the same vein, he APC chairmanship aspirant in ifedore Local Government area of Ondo State, Engr. Isreal Omotuyi Agboola has felicitated with Muslims faithful across Ifedore Local Government, Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole on the occasion of 2023 Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.

Agboola while felicitating with Muslim faithful at his home town,Ijare community call on Nigerians to see the 2023 edition of Eid-ul-Adha celebrations as a morale booster in our nation’s quest for peaceful coexistence, unity and progress of Nigeria.

The aspirant stressed the need for the Muslim faithful to remember the Ondo State Governor, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu in their prayers and continue to live in peace and harmony as people of one nation under God bound in freedom, peace and unity.

He added that though the country is going through a trying period, the Eid-ul-Adha should serve as an opportunity to supplicate and seek the face of God, for restoration and healing of our governor noting that President Tinubu’s government is committed to delivering the programs of renewed hope to Nigerians.

Engr. Agboola therefore, wished Nigerians a pleasant celebration, urging Muslims to remain committed to the core values of peace, love, unity, patience, tolerance, perseverance and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad and remember the less privileged and share the merriment with them.
