Hon. Orisunmibare Fasua, the APC councilorship candidate elected in the recent local government elections, has expressed his gratitude to the people of Ijare Ward 1 for their overwhelming support and votes, which secured his position as their councilor.

In his statement, Fasua also commended the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) for the smooth conduct of the elections in Ifedore Local Government Area on Saturday. He praised the peaceful atmosphere reported across various polling units in Ijare Ward 1, where voters exercised their civic rights without significant disruptions.

Fasua particularly appreciated the leadership of Ijare Ward 1 for their unwavering support, noting that the election process reflected the state’s dedication to upholding democratic principles and the rule of law.

He also acknowledged the efforts of the state government, under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for ensuring a seamless and credible electoral process.

As election results from the 10 wards in Ifedore continue to be processed, Fasua congratulated Hon. Dipo Ajibola, the chairman-elect, Hon. Abiola Ijimakinwa, the vice-chairman-elect, the newly elected councilors across all 10 wards, and the APC for their strong performance.

Fasua also extended his congratulations to other APC candidates across Ondo State’s 18 local government areas, wishing them success as the results unfold.
