Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, has appointed Dr. Bolaji Akinola, the former President of the Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN), as his new Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

In a statement following his appointment, Dr. Akinola expressed his commitment to leveraging his expertise to effectively communicate the Honourable Minister’s vision and the Ministry’s strategic initiatives to all stakeholders and the Nigerian public.

He stated, “It is a privilege to serve in this capacity, and I look forward to contributing my part to this important national assignment.”

Dr. Akinola, who is currently the Managing Director of Ships and Ports, is expected to apply his professionalism and expertise to support the Minister’s efforts in unlocking the full potential of Nigeria’s marine and blue economy sector.
